Grab & Go: Celebrate Flag Day & Make Your Own Paracord Lanyard In-Person

Flag Day is a holiday celebrated in the United States. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.

In celebration of Flag Day, stop by and grab a kit to make your own Flag Day Paracord Lanyard and learn the benefits of having a paracord on hand.

Among the chief survival paracord uses is as first-aid material. For instance, you can use paracord to:

  • Fashion a sling to stabilize an injured shoulder, arm, or collarbone, or to apply a splint to a fractured, dislocated, or otherwise banged-up limb.
  • Various tasks, such as building shelters or securing gear
  • Hang up food – out of reach from animals.
  • Make a clothes (or fishing) line, snares, traps, snowshoes, or a bow drill for making a fire.

All materials in the kits will be provided. Get one while supplies last!
