Dave Eubanks shares, "A Slideshow of Coeur d'Alene History" In-Person

Dave Eubanks will present a slide show using many of the Museum's fascinating old photographs of the local and surrounding areas.  Dave narrates a coherent story of our past - including our indigenous history, the fur trappers and traders, Fort Sherman, steamboats and railroads, the discoveries of gold and silver, booms and busts, the Farragut Naval Training Station, and more. Dave's knowledge and experience will be presented to our members to educate and entertain.

Dave Eubanks has been sharing the history of the CDA area with members of our community, including several thousand schoolchildren, for the past 15 years. Dave is a retired educator (43 years in the classroom), a former Trustee on the CDA School Board, a long-time volunteer, and a former Museum of North Idaho board member. Dave has both a B.A. and a master's degree in history from UCLA and California State University, Northridge.
